WHOLESALE Kefir

WHOLESALE Kefir

£2.85

Order online today — next delivery estimated dispatch Wednesday 15th July arriving Thursday 16th July

Made from our own award-winning organic goat's milk, every batch is unique. A delicious kefir; fresh and creamy with a light tang and sometimes a gentle (alive) fizz. Packed full of live cultures, dairy goodness and nothing else! Devon-farmed, family-run, and Soil Association certified organic since 2003. Every batch is made slowly and honestly from milk we're proud of.

Lovely sipped straight from the bottle, poured over granola, or blended into a smoothie.

Live cultures include: Lactococcus lactis (subsp. cremoris, lactis, and lactis biovar. diacetylactis), Leuconostoc mesenteroides (subsp. cremoris and mesenteroides), Leuconostoc pseudomesenteroides, Streptococcus thermophilus, and the kefir yeast Debaryomyces hansenii.

Often easier to digest. Goat's milk contains smaller fat globules and a different protein structure to cow's milk, and many people who find cow's milk hard to tolerate get on well with it.

Properly alive. We never re-pasteurise after culturing, so every bottle is rich in live, active cultures.

Shake gently before opening. Keep refrigerated and store at the back of the fridge (not in the door) so it stays as cold as possible. Kefir is live and will continue to develop in the bottle, growing tangier over time.

Up to 3 weeks shelf life. Once opened, consume within 3 days.

Supplied in recyclable rPET leak-proof 500ml or 1 litre wide-neck bottles.

Ingredients (allergens in bold): Goat Milk, kefir cultures.

Health Benefits

There are many benefits to drinking Goats milk besides the delicious taste. Here are a few:

Naturally easier to digest
— Goats milk contains smaller fat globules and a different protein structure to cows milk, making it gentler on the gut and a popular choice for those who find cows milk hard to tolerate.

More of the good stuff, retained — Our slow batch pasteurisation uses lower temperatures than conventional methods, preserving more of the milk's natural nutrients, enzymes, and flavour than standard commercial processing.

Rich in essential nutrients — A natural source of calcium, vitamin A, and potassium, goats milk supports bone health, immune function, and everyday wellbeing — without the additives or fillers found in processed alternatives.

Storage & shelf life

To maintain the shelf life of your purchase, we recommend storing it at the back of the fridge (not in the door) so it stays as cold as possible.

If you wish to extend the shelf life you can freeze your milk upon delivery and it will last for 3 months in your freezer. Consume within 3 days once defrosted. Yoghurt is not suitable for home freezing.

Our shelf life is 4 days but generally fresh milk will last much longer than this if kept cold. It begins to taste goaty before it is unsafe to drink.
